Friday’s statement by Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), chief of staff, suggested that Fetterman may have suffered permanent brain damage from his campaigning in the past year. Many in conservative media raised questions about Fetterman’s health and whether he was really fit to serve in Congress. However, Fetterman’s chief of staff, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), admitted that Fetterman may have suffered permanent brain damage from campaigning last year. This admission contradicts Fetterman’s doctor, a Democrat donor who said Fetterman was fit to continue serving.

“Overall, Lt. Governor Fetterman seems well and is committed to good health and fitness. Dr. Clifford Chen wrote last January that he has no restrictions on work and can perform full duty in public office.”

According to the New York Times, Fetterman was having trouble adapting to his Capitol Hill responsibilities prior to his hospitalization. According to the report Fetterman may be frustrated at having “set himself back forever” by running for office instead of taking time off after his stroke in May.

“Fetterman has had to accept the fact that he may not have taken the recommended amount of sleep during the campaign. He continues to push himself in ways his family and friends worry are harmful,” the report stated.

According to Fetterman’s Chief Of Staff Adam Jentleson to the New York Times, “What you should do to recover from that is to do as little as possible.” Fetterman was instead forced to do “as much as possible” — he had to return to the campaign trail. It is difficult to get that back.

According to the New York Times, “Aides and confidantes described his entry into the Senate as difficult, filled with unfamiliar duties, taxing for someone still recovering: meetings with constituents; attending caucus meetings and committee meetings; appearing in public at White House events such as the State of the Union address and State of the Union speech as well as appearances in Pennsylvania.” He is therefore not fit to serve.

Gisele Fetterman was the wife of Fetterman and demanded an apology from NBC News after a report revealed that Fetterman had difficulty communicating during interviews.

“What are the media doing after a reporter was so openly ableist toward a person?” Mrs. Fetterman asked. “I would like to see an apology from her and her network towards the disabled community for the damage they have done.”

Gisele Fetterman’s fury at the coverage of her husband’s health issues and the fake note from Fetterman’s doctor make it clear that John Fetterman was not putting his health before his campaign. His team was prepared to lie about it to win the Senate seat.

It is hard to imagine a husband’s doctor and wife being this cruel.

Fetterman, his wife, campaign, and doctor tried to deceive the public. Conservative media was the first to point out that Fetterman isn’t in good health and question the narrative. He was certain he knew he wasn’t capable of handling the U.S. Senate job and didn’t quit when his party had the opportunity to choose an alternate candidate.
